In this food chain, the grass is being eaten by the zebras, and the zebras are eaten by the cheetahs. The grass gives the zebra energy, and the zebra gives the cheetah energy.

 HERBIVORE: only plant eater.

CARNIVORE: only meat eater.

OMNIVORE: plant and animal eater.

PREDATOR/PREY:

If say for example, the number of jaguars increased, the number of giraffes would severely decrease, possibly even go extinct.

INVASIVE SPECIES:

If a new species came again, they could feed on one of the existing species and affect all of the species that also eat that organism. It would cause much competition and if the invasive species doesn't have the limiting factors it had in its last environment, odds are they won't leave soon.

LIMITING FACTORS:

DENSITY-DEPENDENT: competition

DENSITY-INDEPENDENT: natural disasters
